Don’t Stay Up Late, Stine explores the unbridled terror of a damaged young lady sent on a doomed babysitting job.

Ever since a car accident killed her father and put Lisa and her mother into the hospital, Lisa can’t think straight. She’s plagued by nightmares and hallucinations that force her to relive the accident over and over again in vivid detail. When Lisa finds out that a neighbor is looking for a babysitter for her young son, she takes the job immediately, eager to keep busy and shake these disturbing images from her head.
But what promised to be an easy gig turns terrifying when Lisa begins to question exactly who — or what — she is babysitting

This is my first ever R.L. Stine book.

Its a story about Lisa who suffered from hallucination because of the accident that killed her father. after that horrible incident she kept seeing things like, monsters. her doctor offered her a work to babysit harry at fear street. but Isaac her friend warned her about horrible things happened at fear street but she didn’t listened because this work will help her and her mom to move forward from the accident.

This book reminds me so much of Mara Dyer, because it talked about hallucinations. Mara dyer comes first into my mind when I heard the word Hallucination. but this one is a different story. Fear street has a horrible history about a two family the Goodes and the Fears. they put curses to each other. they practiced dark magic and sorcery. but Lisa didn’t listened to Isaac, she continued to work with Brenda and babysit Harry. Brenda gave instructions to Lisa and one of them is Don’t let harry stay up late. Until, one night she discovered that something’s strange happened on Brenda’s house. she saw a Demon. Lisa told this to everyone but no one been paying attention to her since she has an accident and hallucinated a lot. even her own mother didn’t listened to her.

I read this book mostly at night since it’s only my free time to read. It’s so scary when you read a book like this at night. The character I fully trusted in this book is Lisa’s mom and Isaac. I never trusted Dr. Shein, Harry and Saralyn. I knew i was right! they’re related to harry and they’re protecting Harry. (sorry for spoiling you 😂✌🏻️). This book scared the shit out of me and you should definitely read this. I gave this book a 4 🌟/5.
