The Book Sacrifice Tag!

I came to know this Book Tag at Youtube. I’ve saw a lot of Youtuber’s doing this tag like Sasha, Kristine and from the creator herself Ariel Bisset.

so let’s get on the tag;

  1. An over-hyped book. Situation:  Let’s start this off with a Zombie Apocalypse! Let’s say you’re in a book store, just browsing, when BAM! ZOMBIE ATTACK. An announcement comes over the PA System saying that the military has discovered that the zombies’ only weakness is over-hyped books. What book that everyone else says is amazing but you really hated do you start chucking at the zombies knowing that it will count as an over-hyped book and successfully wipe them out?!

It’s Eleanor and Park. you may probably hate me for doing this but this is just an opinion. I try everything that I could to like this book but it ‘s just didn’t get me. the story was just “MEH” for me. I even tried finishing this book just to make sure if there’s something beautiful happened in the last part of the book, but seriously Rainbow Rowell? you end it just like that? so No. a no no to me.

2. A Sequel. Situation: Let’s say you’ve just left the salon with a SMASHING new haircut and BOOM: Torrential downpour. What sequel are you willing to use as an umbrella to protect yourself?

I like divergent so much that I fell in love with Veronica’s writing and I think it’s a good start of a great trilogy. but when I read Insurgent, I was like? Seriously Roth? this is the reason why I didn’t continue to read Allegiant and everyone knows that Tris died on the last book so it was a total let down. i think Insurgent the movie was way better than the book.

3. A Classic. Situation: Let’s say you’re in a lecture and your English teacher is going on and on about how this classic changed the world, how it revolutionized literature and you get so sick of it that you chuck the classic right at his face because you know what? This classic is stupid and it’s worth detention just to show everyone how you feel! What Classic did you chuck?

I remember when our teacher in Literature discuss this book, I didn’t really pay attention because I don’t like the plot of the story. I didn’t get it. I think because it’s about monster and I really don’t know and I really hate this book! ugh!!

4. A least favorite book. Situation. Let’s say that you’re hanging out at the library when BAM global warming explodes and the world outside becomes a frozen wasteland. You’re trapped and your only chance for survival is to burn a book. What is the book you first run to, your least favourite book of all life, what book do you not fully regret lighting?

I think this one goes for the 4th installment of the selection series. I was really interested from the first chapter but Eadlyn gotten into my nerves and I can’t take her attitude anymore so I decided to stop reading this book. I end up selling the first 3 books because of Eadlyn haha. I know I overreact but I was really pissed at Eadlyn. she’s a brat, just like her mom! stubborn. ugh

if you happen to read this post. You’re tag!! 🙂

  1. Your answers, I love them. I never understood the hype about Eleanor and Park (I don’t actually understand the hype regarding Rainbow Rowell’s books, but I guess it’s unfair for me to say so since I have yet to read one), and Insurgent disappointed me as well. I haven’t read Beowulf or the Selection series yet, but I’m going to take your word about them!
